Terms of Use

Effective 26 August 2026

These terms govern your use of the Rusukh mobile app and this website. By creating an account you agree to them.

1. What Rusukh is — and what it is not

Rusukh is a study aid. It helps you read the Qur'an, look up hadith, ask questions answered from a verified corpus, and memorise with a spaced-repetition schedule.

Rusukh does not issue religious rulings. It is not a mufti, a substitute for a qualified scholar, or a source of fatwa. Where scholars differ, the app shows that they differ. Where its sources cannot support an answer, it defers. For a binding ruling on your situation, consult a qualified scholar.

2. Sacred content and provenance

Qur'anic text, translations and hadith shown in Rusukh are reproduced verbatim from identified sources, each carrying its own provenance record. The app is built so that sacred content is quoted, never generated. If you find a quotation that is wrong, misattributed or mis-graded, report it in the app or email us — we treat those reports as urgent.

Underlying texts remain the property of their respective publishers and are used subject to their licences. You may share individual passages for personal study; you may not scrape or redistribute the corpus in bulk.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create one. Provide accurate information and keep it current.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Rusukh to harass, deceive or harm others; do not misrepresent its output as a religious ruling; do not attempt to breach its security, evade its rate limits, or extract the corpus in bulk; and do not use it to generate content that misattributes sacred text.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Rusukh is free to use, with banner ads on non-sacred surfaces. An optional Premium subscription removes ads. If offered, subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play and billed by them; entitlements are managed through RevenueCat. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you can manage or cancel yours in your App Store or Google Play account settings. We never see or store your payment details. Refunds are handled under the policy of the store you purchased from.

6. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or discontinue features. We will give reasonable notice of material changes that affect paid features.

7. Disclaimers

Rusukh is provided "as is". We work hard on citation accuracy and treat any breach of it as a release blocker, but we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we make no warranty that any answer is suitable for a particular religious decision.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using Rusukh and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which DeepFAI is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
