You can delete your Rusukh account and all the study data attached to it at any time. There are two ways to do it.
In the app
- Open Rusukh and sign in.
- Go to Profile.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and data are deleted immediately and you are signed out.
By email
Email support@deepfai.com from the address you registered with, asking us to delete your account. We will verify the request and complete it within 30 days — usually within two business days.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in credentials
- Your questions and the answers returned to you, and any feedback or reports you filed
- Your bookmarks, notes and collections
- Your memorisation goals, review history and mistake log
- Your preferences and masjid affiliation
- Your push notification token
What is kept, and for how long
- Encrypted backups age out within 30 days of deletion.
- Anonymised accuracy counters — for example how often the app deferred instead of answering — are kept with no link to you, because they are how we monitor citation accuracy.
- Records we are legally required to keep, such as transaction records for a subscription, are kept for the period the law requires.
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, not by us. Cancel yours in your App Store or Google Play account settings before deleting your account, or you will keep being charged.
